TECHNICAL DIVING
TECHNICAL DIVING programs are advanced training courses for certified divers who want to dive deeper, stay longer, and manage more complex environments. It involves using different breathing gases and equipment configurations to extend bottom time and reduce decompression risk
Ages: 15+ | Duration: from 1 to 4 days | Level: Advanced
What You’ll Need
Open water scuba diver.
Advanced adventurer is recommended, as well as a significant number of logged dives.
Side mount specialty and a number of dives with that setup highly recommended
Additional requirements may apply per program.
If aged 15 to 18 fill the form ‘NOTICE TO THE MINOR CHILD’S NATURAL GUARDIAN’
What You’ll Learn & Do
Start with in-depth theory on gas management, decompression principles, dive planning, and redundant system protocols.
In the water, you’ll train using open circuit (OC; twinset or sidemount) or closed circuit rebreather (CCR) configurations—developing advanced buoyancy, gas switch procedures, team awareness, and emergency handling.
You’ll also develop the precision and discipline needed for extended bottom times, accelerated decompression, and dives in deep, staged or overhead environments (OH)—all under expert supervision.
We certify on the Hollis® Prism 2 and the Dive Rite® O2ptima CM rebreathers. A technical divemaster is also available for those certified tec divers wanting to “rent” a team mate.
On Rebreather Courses
Closed-circuit rebreather (CCR) diving is a serious commitment, and we want to ensure you are fully equipped for a safe, effective, and rewarding experience. For this reason, participants are required to own their own rebreather when enrolling in CCR courses.
To streamline your path into CCR diving, we offer a comprehensive package that seamlessly combines the rebreather unit with professional training. Our all-inclusive package covers everything you need—gases, cylinder rental, extended air, scrubber material, weights, bailout cylinders, and learning materials—with no additional fees, except for helium.
Train with confidence and focus fully on mastering CCR diving, knowing all essential equipment and support are already taken care of.
