The supervised Scuba Diver program certifies you to dive up to 12 meters while accompanied with a dive professional and covers nearly half of the full Open Water Diver program. Upgrade anytime by completing the remaining academics and dives.

OPEN WATER DIVER

The Open Water Diver program certifies you to dive independently with a buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters and is the world’s most recognized scuba certification. It includes full dive theory, confined water sessions, and four open water dives.

What You’ll Learn & Do

Start with interactive digital academics/eLearning by SDI® or SSI® to understand the fundamentals of scuba physics, safety, equipment use, and dive planning.

Then, build confidence through confined water training, where you'll learn and practice essential skills like buoyancy control, mask removal and clearing, regulator recovery, emergency procedures, and more.

Finally, complete four open water dives (max depth: 18m/60ft) under the supervision of a professional instructor, applying your skills while exploring real underwater environments.

Technical Diving programs are advanced training courses for certified divers who want to dive deeper, stay longer, and manage more complex environments. It involves using different breathing gases and equipment configurations to extend bottom time and reduce decompression risk.

Delivered in collaboration with Into the Blue®, these programs are ideal for experienced divers ready to explore beyond recreational limits—safely and precisely.

What You’ll Learn & Do

Start with in-depth theory on gas management, decompression principles, dive planning, and redundant system protocols.

In the water, you’ll train using open circuit (twinset or sidemount) or closed circuit rebreather (CCR) configurations—developing advanced buoyancy, gas switch procedures, team awareness, and emergency handling.

You’ll also develop the precision and discipline needed for extended bottom times, accelerated decompression, and dives in deep, staged or overhead environments—all under expert supervision.

Into The Blue® promotes and uses the Hollis® Prism 2 CC rebreather. A technical divemaster is also available for those certified tec divers wanting to “rent a team mate”.
